Micheal Cera really did an excellent job on his role as Scott Pilgrim and the way the character developed, he's really the one that brings mostly the entertainment in this movie. Though there was a little more to this story than that, honestly. RevIew: - Good Things The story's simple guy want's girl, guy fights evil ex boyfriends, guy gain's confidence and get's girl. I had very low expectations, so all I had to do was watch and enjoy it. This relieved me as 'we' all know most video game movies suck. Perhaps due to the most recent comic book movies that's been released lately KICK ASS, Iron Man 2, The Losers and Jonah Hex (terrible movie). At first it seemed like it was based on a video game (due to the special effects throughout the film) or some wacky creator/director figured that throwing in special effects would draw interest to the audience, but at some point I sensed 'just a bit' that it might've been based on the comic book. As many times I saw the trailers, I didn't think it would be based on a comic book series until much later. Note that I'm not a fan of the Scott Pilgrim series, and I only know about him through word of mouth and some information through comic vine. I would've seen "The Other Guy" or "The Expendables" but they were showing them at a later time, so I settled for this. The World movie, I finally get a chance to see it.
